MIRASTONE

Quartz sand is a material that is obtained by extracting and classifying natural rolled sand, or by crushing and screening rock that contains silicon. Quartz sand has high heat resistance, does not enter into chemical reactions with other substances.  

The technical department of the MIRAGGIO ™ company has developed a new technology for manufacturing sanitary ware, kitchen sinks in general, as well as washbasins and shower trays - Mirastone. The basis of the technology is the use of quartz sand and the addition of polyester resin, which ensures the strength of our products.

Each model is produced in 6 trendy colors: terra, sand, jasmine,
white, gray, black. Due to the variety of colors, you can easily choose the shade you need! Quartz sand is pigmented, supplied from abroad and does not change color over time under the influence of external factors.

Sanitary ware manufactured using Mirastone technology has a uniform texture and color, and also has many unique properties:

• High strength of the material

According to this parameter, artificial stone exceeds its natural counterpart and even concrete. A falling cup or plate will not leave any cracks or chips on the sink. As for metal utensils and large dishes, they can form chips if they fall at a certain angle, we do not recommend throwing such household items into the dishwasher. Deformations and bends due to mechanical loads will not occur on the product, and with proper care, the sink will last for at least 30 years.

• Hygiene

The surface of the quartz sand product is devoid of pores, so pollution will not accumulate on the sanitary ware. No dirt – no harmful bacteria, plaque and bad smell.

• Resistance to household dyes

Food and chemical dyes do not leave traces on the surface of the sink, they are easily washed off with running water.

• Easy care

To clean Mirastone sanitary ware, you can use any detergent that does not contain abrasive particles.

General care recommendations:

1. After use, the sink must be washed using a regular dishwashing detergent to remove the remains of grease and coloring substances. Then wipe with a soft cloth (microfiber) from water remains to avoid the appearance of lime scale.
2. To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen sink, carry out preventive measures no more than once a month or as needed. It is recommended to use, for example, Domestos. Apply a small amount of product to the surface, leave for 1-2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with a big amount of water. Or a care product for composite (granite) sinks. Such prevention will preserve the integrity of the material and remove dirt.

Forbidden!

1. Place pans and hot objects temperature of which exceeds 70-80˚C on the surface of the sink. 
2. Do not expose the sink to excessive heat - it is necessary to turn on cold water when draining the boiling water.
3. Use abrasive powders to clean the sink. Their frequent use will lead to faster contamination of the sink in the future and damage to the integrity of the surface.
4. Use tablets and other products intended for dishwashers, as well as any detergents that are not intended for the care of kitchen sinks made of composite materials.
5. Use and put on the surface products that include aggressive acids and alkalis. In the composition of the agent, alkalis can appear as follows: sodium hydroxide, alkalis, NaOH, caustic sodium, caustic potassium, KOH, alkaline detergent based on potassium or sodium hydroxide. If the indicated pH indicator of the detergent is more than 9 units, then it cannot be used (extremely dangerous - more than 13 units).
