MIRALIGHT

Marble (from ancient Greek - "white or shiny stone") is a metamorphic rock consisting of calcite. Due to the technology developed by MIRAGGIO, the rock formed millions of years ago is transformed into a strong, beautiful and modern product - cast marble. It is a composite material developed on the basis of high-quality polymers and natural stone. It has all the advantages of natural marble and granite, wood and glass, but it has been improved so much that it is devoid of all the disadvantages of natural materials.

The Miramarble technology, developed by the technical department of the MIRAGGIO™ company, is the manufacturing of products made of cast marble (artificial stone). This material is hard and durable. The main component of its mixture is marble crumb, which is mixed with a binding polyester resin. The outer surface of each product is covered with additional antibacterial gel Gelcoat ISO NPG. Due to this, MIRAGGIO sanitary ware is durable and snow-white. At the final stage of production, each product is polished with a special paste. In this way, we get a shiny glossy surface.

We did not stop there and developed the Miralight technology - lightweight bathtubs and wash basins made of cast marble. We achieved this effect by adding microspheres to the ground marble mixture.
When manufacturing products using standard Miramarble technology, microspheres are added to the mixture. This additive has a dark gray color and, entering into a reaction with the mixture, takes on a black color. This is a normal reaction.
It is for this reason that this technology is additionally applied to products manufactured using the Miramarble i Miramarble MATT.

All technical characteristics of cast marble products remain unchanged, but the following are improved:

• weight — it decreases by 15-30%
• heat preservation is extended by 40-60 minutes (that is, one bath time can be almost an hour longer!)

At first glance, these indicators may seem unimportant, BUT:

• less weight of sanitary ware = less pressure on the foundation, on one bathtub the pressure is reduced by 30-50 kg
• when the walls of the building, for example, are made of aerated concrete or plasterboard - any washbasin cannot be hung, because the weight of the product is important!
• if you like to take a bath — then an additional 40-60 minutes is a plus, or you prepare food and the children are in the bathroom - you have an extra half hour to finish dinner, and the children have fun in the water.

So, based on these examples, we can say that Miralight technology can solve several problems at once.

The main properties of the unique Miralight sanitary ware:

• Heat preservation

The combination of a natural heat conductor and effective insulation allows the material to absorb the heat of water and air. Due to this, cast marble products maintain an optimal temperature, are always warm to the touch and provide unprecedented comfort of use.

• Antibacterial coating

Each product is covered with a protective antibacterial Gelcoat ISO NPG gel. This coating prevents the reproduction of bacteria and microbes both on the surface of the product and in the thickness of the walls. This gel is used in the manufacturing of yachts, boats, water slides and other elements that are in constant direct contact with water. However, Gelcoat ISO NPG is absolutely safe for human and animal health.

• Noise insulation

Cast marble gives the product exceptional noise insulation. This feature is due to the high density of material particles. The sound of water hitting the surface is muffled, which significantly increases the comfort of using sanitary ware.

• Durability of the material

Artificial stone provides products with extraordinary impact resistance, resistance to temperature and UF rays. Due to these properties, with proper care, cast marble sanitary ware will last for many years.

• Size flexibility

All products are produced with a tolerance of 0-3 mm and a minimum radius of up to 2 mm. The properties of the material allow you to adjust the dimensions of the product by cutting the material. Therefore, you will always receive a product of the required siz.

• Repairability

Unlike products made of any other materials, sanitary ware made of cast marble is repairable. This is a big advantage, because a small chip or scratch is easy to repair at home. More about it in the vide.

• Resistance to dyes and pollution

All products made using Miramarble technology are resistant to household dyes. Therefore, you should not be afraid that the child will paint the bathroom with markers, or you will drop a container with hair dye, drip with iodine, etc. - all this can be removed even with running water.

Care of sanitary ware manufactured using Miralight technology corresponds to the rules of care for sanitary ware with a glossy or matt finish.

General recommendations:

1. If there is a drain cover (decorative cover) in the product, it is necessary to pay attention to the care and maintenance of the place under it. It is recommended to clean the pad from below at least once a week, as well as the place where the surface of the product and the pad meet.
2. Collect all products improve operational properties at a temperature of ±60-65 ˚С. However, we draw your attention to the fact that there should not be a very large temperature difference between the external environment and the water. This may damage the product.
3. Sinks and bathtubs without automatic overflow are recommended to be filled up to 2/3 of the height of the bowl.
4. If you have hard water, then it is necessary to remove the remaining water from the surface with a soft cloth (microfiber) in order to avoid the appearance of limescale when drying.
5. After use, the sink or bathtub should be rinsed with running water. Soap scum should be cleaned with a soft cloth and a universal cream with microgranules or other special products for the care of products made of cast marble (composite material, natural stone or acrylic).
6. Do not place hot hair straighteners, curling irons and other heating devices on the surface of the products.
7. It is impossible to use and put on the surface products that include aggressive acids and alkalis. In the composition of the agent, alkalis can appear as follows: sodium hydroxide, alkalis, NaOH, caustic sodium, caustic potassium, KOH, alkaline detergent based on potassium or sodium hydroxide. If the specified pH indicator of the detergent is more than 9 units, it cannot be used (extremely dangerous - more than 13 units).
8. Do not use abrasive powders to clean products with a glossy surface made by Miralight technology (lightened glossy products made of cast marble). Their frequent use will lead to faster contamination of the wash basin in the future and damage to the surface.
