Bauxite is a sedimentary rock consisting mainly of aluminum oxides and hydroxides, as well as iron oxide and various impurities (clay particles). The name comes from the area of Les Baux-de-Provence in southern France, rich in bauxite deposits. This rock is mined in only  18 countries of the world.

The technical department of the MIRAGGIO ™ company has developed a new technology for manufacturing sanitary ware with an impeccably matt finish - Mirasoft. The technology is based on the use of white bauxite. Only polyester resin is additionally added. It is bauxite that gives plumbing products their flawless white color and velvety texture. The material is antibacterial and is even used in the medical field. Due to its properties, bathtubs, washbasins and shower trays are as hard as stone, but have a pleasant matt surface.

Sanitary ware manufactured using Mirasoft technology is matt and uniform over the entire thickness of the product and has many unique properties:

• Heat preservation 

The presence of a natural heat conductor in the mixture allows the material to absorb the heat of water and air. Due to this, Mirasoft products maintain an optimal temperature, are always warm to the touch and provide unprecedented comfort during use.

• Noise insulation 

Bauxite gives the product exceptional sound insulation. This feature is due to the high density of material particles. The sound of water hitting the surface is muffled, which significantly increases the comfort of using sanitary ware.

• Impact resistance and durability of the material

The stone mass obtained during the manufacture of sanitary ware using the Mirasoft technology is a unique structure where white bauxite is reinforced with a flexible binding resin. This ensures resistance to loads, damage from impacts and exposure to high and low temperatures. Due to this, the products remain in a completely new condition for many years.

• Repairability

Among other materials, Mirasoft sanitary ware is distinguished by its maintainability. This is a great advantage, because shallow scratches can be cleaned with the abrasive side of a sponge or sandpaper. 

• Easy care

Due to the absence of pores on the surface and the velvety structure, you only need a sponge (abrasive part) and a cleaning abrasive to ensure cleanliness.

General care recommendation:

1. If there is a drain cover (decorative cover) in the product, it is necessary to pay attention to the care and maintenance of the place under it. It is recommended to clean the pad from below at least once a week, as well as the place where the surface of the product and the pad mee.
2. All products retain their operational properties at a temperature of ±60-65 ˚С. However, we pay your attention to the fact that there should not be a very large temperature difference between the external environment and the water. This may damage the product.
3. Sinks and bathtubs without automatic overflow are recommended to be filled up to 2/3 of the height of the bow.
4. If you have hard water, then it is necessary to remove the remaining water from the surface with a soft cloth (microfiber) in order to avoid the appearance of limescale when drying.
5. After use, the sink or bathtub should be rinsed with running water. Soap scum should be cleaned with a soft cloth and a universal cream with microgranules or other special products for the care of products made of cast marble (composite material, natural stone or acrylic).
6. Do not place hot hair straighteners, curling irons and other heating devices on the surface of the products.
7. Do not  use and put on the surface products that include aggressive acids and alkalis. In the composition of the agent, alkalis can appear as follows: sodium hydroxide, alkalis, NaOH, caustic sodium, caustic potassium, KOH, alkaline detergent based on potassium or sodium hydroxide. If the specified pH indicator of the detergent is more than 9 units, it cannot be used (extremely dangerous - more than 13 units). 
8. Matt products should be cleaned with a cleaning agent with abrasives at least once a week. Such care will preserve the matt texture and prevent the appearance of persistent stains and plaque, which will then be difficult to remove from the surface.
